PUBLIC POLICY DIRECTOR
Incenter Strategies is seeking a Public Policy
Director to lead the legislative and policy development efforts
of a national organization to advance adolescent health.
Responsibilities
Analyzing federal and state health policy issues
affecting low-income and minority adolescents; formulating new
legislative and policy strategies; building partnerships; and
preparing reports and briefing materials.
Qualifications
- A law or public policy degree
- 3-4 years experience in legislative or public policy fields
- Superior analytic, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment

SENIOR PROGRAM ASSOCIATE
Incenter Strategies is seeking a Senior Program
Associate to conduct research and policy analysis on Medicaid and SCHIP, health reform, and interdisciplinary models of care for low-income and minority adolescents.
Responsibilities
Analyzing federal and state policies related to Medicaid,
SCHIP, and other financing issues; conducting key informant interviews and site
visits; providing technical assistance on financing; preparation of reports and
journal articles for a national audience and generating new ideas to further our
mission to advance adolescent health.
Qualifications
- A masters degree in public policy or related field
- At least 2 years experience in health policy analysis
- Strong analytic, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Highly motivated and able to work independently and as part
of a team

INTERNSHIP
Incenter is seeking applicants for its 2008
Summer and Semester Internship Programs to assist senior staff
in legal and policy research related to Medicaid, SCHIP, and safety
net programs. Interns will also assist with Incenter's ongoing
work to promote legislative reforms, identify innovative models
of care, and build coalitions to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities
in adolescent health. Law students and graduate students in public
policy or public health with strong analytical and writing skills
are encouraged to apply.
